The Zech Group has a majority holding in HOCHTIEF do Brasil in Sao Paulo, the Brazilian subsidiary of HOCHTIEF Aktiengesellschaft, Essen. HOCHTIEF do Brasil, which has 1,500 employees, has already undertaken projects for national and international clients in the sectors of infrastructure, industry, commercial buildings and residential property. The company also offers services in the field of facility management. For the Zech Group, acquisition of the majority holding in HOCHTIEF do Brasil was the next logical step to further expansion on the attractive Brazilian market.

In the year 2008 we engaged ourselves in a joint venture with the Brazilian construction and real-estate company Construtora Tedesco. This occupies more than 400 employees. The 50 percent involvement is held by Zech do Brasil, the registered address of which is in Porto Allegre. Zech do Brasil is a one-hundred-percent subsidiary of Zech International Holding. Via the shared Sapotec/Tedesco office in Sao Paulo we are further extending our operating activities in Brazil.
